Client: Transload.it

Transload.it is "an on demand infrastructure service that specializes in scalable file uploading & processing."

The concept for the logo is taken from the act of transloading goods from one medium of transportation to another which generally requires some manual labor. This idea has been merged with speed and stability to create the symbol. It has later been modified to replace the crate with an AJAX 'loading spinner'.

I really like the use of typography and the simplicity of the logo, I'm not sure about the outline concept for the stick figure, The favicon for the site might benefit without the outline.

I have some problems with the execution of the "ajax loading" concept. At first glance, it seemed like a throwing motion for the arm. I think an emphasis on the progressive scaling of the dots (the bigger being closer to the head) might clarify the concept; putting most of the "weight" of load on the back of the figure and looking more like the "loading" progression.

Great choice of color, looks great on the website.

I really like the logo, but I didn't get the ajax loading symbol until you've mentioned it. The logo is perfect and simple, just how i like it, but the loading part... I don't know how you can make that work showing only 1/4 of a static circle made out of dots

Thanks for the feedback. I admit the AJAX loader is a little difficult to notice by itself, but since this logo will almost always be seen along with a description of the service (website, ads), it doesn't seem to cause a problem. I will look into this if we are to update the logo.

It would be more suggestive if it could be posted in an animated version on flash banners, or even when an document is loaded on that site, ect.
