fluidCORE Logo 3 by AbhaySingh1 fluidCORE Logo 3 by AbhaySingh1
3rd revision of the fluidCORE logo, plus (hopefully) the final color.

Comments and favorites appreciated. Constructive criticism is welcome, as always :)

UPDATE: Cap height reduced slightly for CORE.

Well, the first thing I noticed was the different fonts between "fluid" and "CORE."

"Fluid" has an obvious lilt to it, most likely to visually show the concept of fluid.

Then, you switched the font for "CORE" to something more bold, solid, and/or blocky. However, I think the font for "CORE" needs to be more blocky, less flashy. Such as the "E" has a curve in it.

Also, cut the top and bottom margins by an inch and the left and right margins by half an inch.

But, to be a really good critic, I'd need to know what its used for and what on.

Thanks for the feedback :)

'fluid' and 'CORE' are the same font, both parts modified slightly for my purpose. I get your point; if there's a contrast between 'fluid' and 'CORE', why not make it completely as obvious as possible, right? :) I'll try out the 'CORE' modification. Thanks.

Here's where it will be used mostly: [link] . It's my personal portfolio website. I might print out some promotional material and stationery with the same logo as well.

More feedback would be appreciated, if you have any.

Well, it works well, then. I might suggest increasing the overall size of "fluidCORE" by about 1.2, or so. It seems just a wee bit too small.

I had liked the way you made meaning out of the symbol before. But now it's not happening. Something's wrong. It's just not 'awesome' right now. Please don't settle for this one do more to it. It doesn't seem like you. It's static. If the logo were a person it would just be not creative, curious and interesting. It's a good design but doesn't suit you and the work you do. I hope you get what I mean.

I get what you mean now :) Thanks for the feedback

I really like the design, especially the capitalization of 'core'/the overall text design. I think the impact might be heightened a little if the red were more saturated, but this is definitely a strong design :]
